Learn From The Master.
Vlado Meller’s Mastering Workshop is an exclusive opportunity to learn in-depth strategy, technique, and philosophy from a long-time music industry legend and a true master of his field.
Vlado has mastered more hit records than any mastering engineer in history – from Frank Ocean to Frank Sinatra and Metallica to Michael Jackson – with a discography spanning 40+ years and some of the greatest records ever recorded. Combining the incomparable knowledge and skill that can only come from this experience with the very latest mastering technology, Vlado continues to shape and define the current hit sound.
To help share this knowledge with the next generation of audio professionals, Vlado is personally selecting a limited number of qualified engineers to be a part of his Mastering Workshop Series. The series consists of three days of intense, hands-on audio mastering training in Charleston, South Carolina’s state of the art Truphonic Recording Studios, a stunning room personally designed by Vlado himself.
In very small, intimate groups within the real recording studio, Vlado will walk participants through every step of the mastering process, from mixes to a final master ready for release. Beyond the workshop itself, past participants have formed valuable connections with Vlado lasting years, keeping in touch and sharing their latest projects.
Joining Vlado at his mastering workshops are VMS Director Paul West, a recording industry expert on current audio standards as well as the the future of digital audio content; and Jeremy Lubsey, Vlado’s hand-picked apprentice who has already built an impressive catalog mastering hot current artists such as Allan Kingdom.
If you’re an audio professional serious about learning the ins and outs of mastering, Vlado Meller’s Mastering Workshop is an opportunity that’s impossible to pass up.
Vlado chose Truphonic Recording in Charleston, South Carolina for his Masterworks Series not just because Conde Nast rated Charleston as the Top Tourist destination in the world in 2012, but because he wanted to teach real mastering in beautiful, modern recording studio. This is the listening environment your ears are already tuned to.
