2007 – Epic Records / Sony Music

With her tenth English-language album Taking Chances, Celine Dion returned to the global music landscape after nearly five years onstage with "A New Day," her five-year residency at Las Vegas' The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, and continued her stint as one of the world's biggest stars.

The album included singles including "Taking Chances," "Eyes on Me," "Alone," and "That's Just The Woman In Me," which Dion noted as one of her favorite songs from the album due to the fact that it was offered to her 15 years earlier and was held to better fit the collection of songs around it and her phase of artistic development. The line-up of producers and contributors was very diverse, including John Doelp, Vito Luprano, Linda Perry, ex-Evanescence members Ben Moody and David Hodges, Ne-Yo, the Eurythmics' David A. Stewart, Kara DioGuardi, Guy Roche, and frequent Vlado collaborator Humberto Gatica, who engineered the album.
